Accessibility Statement for clubgianthorizons.com

Effective date: August 18, 2025

Applies to: https://clubgianthorizons.com and related subdomains/pages hosted on Systeme.io (the “Site”).

Club Giant Horizons (“CGH”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, consistent with our values of Respect, Honesty, and Loyalty (RHL). We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our Site and, in doing so, strive to adhere to applicable accessibility standards.

Standards & Conformance Goal

  • Primary standard: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA (in progress; we aim to meet or exceed this level within the capabilities of the Systeme.io platform).

  • Forward‑looking: We are progressively aligning with WCAG 2.2 AA where feasible.

  • U.S. reference frameworks: We endeavor to provide access consistent with the spirit of ADA Title III (public accommodations). While Section 508 directly applies to U.S. federal agencies and contractors, we consider it a helpful reference.

Conformance status:
As of the effective date, portions of the Site conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. Because our Site is built on Systeme.io, some elements are controlled by the platform (e.g., certain dialogs, system messages, and form widgets). We run an ongoing remediation program—using available editor options and custom code—to address gaps identified in audits (see Assessment Approach, Platform‑Specific Notes, and Known Limitations below).

Measures We Take

To support accessibility, CGH:

  • Maintains internal accessibility guidelines for design and development.

  • Uses a design system that enforces color contrast, focus visibility, keyboard operability, and clear semantics.

  • Performs regular audits (automated + manual) with assistive technologies.

  • Provides training to staff and contractors on accessible content creation.

  • Reviews third‑party widgets and embeds for accessibility impact before deployment.

  • Uses Systeme.io Header/Tracking code to add: skip links, focus outlines, prefers-reduced-motion support, and ARIA attributes where the visual editor lacks a field.

Technical Specifications

The Site relies on technologies that work with a combination of web browsers and assistive technologies, including:

  • HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI‑ARIA attributes for structure and interaction.

  • Systeme.io page builder components (sections, rows, buttons, images, FAQ/accordion, forms). Where the editor exposes accessibility fields (e.g., alt text on images, labels/placeholders on forms), we complete them. Where fields are not exposed, we provide adjacent descriptive text and/or inject ARIA attributes via custom code.

  • Text alternatives for images; appropriate labels for forms; visible focus indicators; logical heading and landmark structure; reduced‑motion support; and keyboard‑only navigation for interactive elements.

Compatibility:
We aim to support current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on desktop and mobile, and common assistive technologies (for example, VoiceOver on iOS/macOS, TalkBack on Android, and recent versions of JAWS and NVDA on Windows). Some features may not fully function on significantly older browsers.

Assessment Approach

Our accessibility program includes:

  • Automated testing (e.g., Lighthouse Accessibility, axe, and WAVE) for color contrast, landmarks, ARIA attributes, and common patterns.

  • Manual testing of key user flows (navigation, forms, media) with keyboard‑only and screen readers (e.g., VoiceOver, NVDA/JAWS).

  • Design reviews for new components and content before publication.

  • Issue tracking with prioritization based on user impact and frequency.

  • Platform review after major Systeme.io updates that could affect markup or components.

Known Limitations & Alternatives

We are working to resolve the following issues, some of which stem from Systeme.io platform constraints:

  • System dialogs/modals (e.g., native pop‑ups) may not fully trap focus. Interim: we avoid non‑essential modals, provide close buttons with clear labels, and add keyboard shortcuts; where necessary, we replace with page‑level sections.

  • FAQ/Accordion keyboard behavior may vary by editor version. Interim: we ensure headings are clickable with Enter/Space; if keyboard issues persist, we publish content as expanded sections.

  • Some embedded third‑party media may lack full keyboard control or captions at publish time. Interim: we provide a transcript/summary or a link to an accessible version where available.

  • Occasional heading hierarchy inconsistencies in legacy pages. Interim: content is being normalized to consistent H1–H6 order.

  • A small number of link texts may be non‑descriptive (e.g., “learn more”). Interim: we are updating to action‑oriented, descriptive labels.

If you encounter an issue not listed here, please let us know (see Feedback & Contact below). We commit to offering a functionally equivalent alternative upon request when a barrier cannot be removed promptly.

Feedback & Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our Site. If you experience difficulty, request an accommodation, or need content in an alternative format, contact us:

  • Email: info@clubgianthorizons.com

Response time: We strive to acknowledge requests within 2 business days and to provide a substantive response within 10 business days, depending on complexity. If your request is urgent or relates to safety, please indicate “Urgent” in the subject line.

Alternative formats: Upon request, we provide materials in accessible formats such as large print, tagged PDF, plain‑text, or audio description, when reasonably achievable.

Third‑Party Content & Platforms

Our Site may include links to or embeds from third‑party websites and services (for example, payment processors, social platforms, video hosts). We do not control the accessibility of these services but seek vendors who support WCAG 2.1 AA. When a third‑party service presents a barrier, we will attempt to provide an accessible alternative or pathway.

Non‑Discrimination

Consistent with our RHL Pledge, CGH does not discriminate on the basis of disability. We provide reasonable accommodations to enable equal access to our programs and services.

Enforcement & Complaints

If you believe your accessibility rights have been violated or your request has not been addressed, you may:

  • Escalate to our Accessibility Lead at accessibility@clubgianthorizons.com (subject: “Escalation”).

  • File a complaint with relevant government agencies as applicable (for example, the U.S. Department of Justice for ADA matters).
We will cooperate in good faith to resolve concerns.
